Center for Regional Food Studies Director's Book Spreads Influence to California

"Assistant Professor Megan Carney’s first book, The Unending Hunger: Tracing Women and Food Insecurity across Borders (University of California Press, 2015), was selected for California Center for the Book’s 2019 Book to Action by Santa Barbara Public Libraries. Dr. Carney has been invited to give a public lecture in Santa Barbara in May. As part of her two-day visit, the library is also organizing programming with community organizations working on issues of food insecurity and immigration."
