Na Zuo, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Practice

Dr. Zuo teaches agribusiness management, finance, economic principles, and food economy at UA. Her passion is to craft effective learning experience that prepares future professionals, practitioners, and leaders in agriculture and the food industry. Dr. Zuo studied issues of natural resource development with a focus on the interaction between fossil fuel extraction and community development. Dr. Zuo is also passionate about Agribusinesses and their coordination along the food supply chain. In addition, Dr. Zuo conducts pedagogical research on group learning, engagement, and student well-being. She has co-authored many peer-reviewed teaching publications and collaborated on several federal and other grant projects focusing on education programs and innovations. Dr. Zuo has been recognized for her excellence in teaching with teaching awards at the college, university, regional, and national levels.

Dr. Zuo is originally from Shandong, China. She was an undergraduate majoring in Finance at Shandong University and a master's student of Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Dr. Zuo received her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky in August 2017.
